Shipping policy

SHIPMENT METHOD

589|Fabrication uses USPS Priority and UPS Ground for shipping on all items. Shipping outside of the lower 48 is available, but will include additional shipping costs. Some items we sell can be shipped to P.O Box or APO/AE addresses, but are limited to the USPS size restrictions. Heavy Item shipping cannot be shipped to P.O Box or APO/AE addresses. UPS does not deliver to P.O Boxes. They must be sent to a physical address. If your delivery needs fall outside of the standard delivery methods, or for a quote outside of the lower 48, please contact us directly. Email: sales@589fab.com. Please include shipping postal code and desired product with your request.

Large orders may require signature confirmation of delivery.

Customers will receive automated shipping tracking information to the email listed with their order once the product has been processed for shipping. Please enter a valid email address upon checkout. Also, bear in mind that your order may be processed outside of normal shipping carrier business hours or after the carrier has already picked up for the day and the item may not ship until the following business day.

All lost or damaged items need to be reported to 589|Fabrication as soon as possible. While we are not responsible for errors caused by the shipping carriers, we are happy to help with resolving issues with the shipping carriers when possible. In the event that an investigation to locate a package is necessary, a replacement package or refund may not be sent until the investigation is concluded. If the carrier deems the package was delivered correctly, but the package was not found at final destination, a police report for a stolen package may be required.

Powder coated items may receive minor nicks, scratches, or bumps during shipping and handling. We take every precaution possible to package our shipments to prevent these damages.

We cannot guarantee any delivery dates but provided with enough notice we will try to meet your deadlines.

Please allow 5-9 business days to receive the package once the item has been shipped. We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the product is in the hands of the shipping carrier.

CANADA ORDERS

All prices on this site are quoted in US (USD) dollars.

Orders shipped to Canada are subject to tariffs, customs duties and associated assessments. These fees may include Import Duties, Brokerage Fees, Value Added Taxes (VAT) and Customs Clearance Fees. These costs are the responsibility of the customer. The shipping/handling 589fab.com charges does not include any of these fees. The customs fees and/or brokerage fees are usually charged by the company (UPS or USPS/Canada Post) delivering the order.
