Great product. Only thing that could be better is the torque specs for the rear differential mount. Easy as butter to install. Did it under the truck with the wheels still on. perfect fit. Rubber mallet to tap it in lightly.
Easy install. The right way to drop a diff. Way better that the cheap spacer kits for the front mounts only.
I had another brand of diff drop in my 24 ZR2, and contrary to all the other options available in the market, which drop your 3rd gen Colorado's diff by 1" just on the front two mounting points, 589's drops the diff on all three of them. This eliminated all the stress and binding my bushings had with the other brand's drop. With 589's solution, the rear diff mount sits lower, but is still above the cross member's line and preserves belly clearance. Install was a breeze as the crossmember is so well built and fitment is spot on. All the holes aligned perfectly and you can even reuse your factory captive nuts. It is such a solid piece that it gives me full confidence that this will not be a point of failure in the trails.
I also complimented this diff drop with 589's skid plate support bracket, which is another beast of a part.
